Dr Ruth Farrugia is a Consultant Paediatrician at the Paediatric Emergency Department at Mater Dei Hospital. She graduated from the University of Malta in 1999, where she currently holds a Visiting Senior Lecturer post. She was awarded membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2005 and obtained the Masters of Science in Paediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Edinburgh in 2017. She has been working with children for over 20 years and has experience in management of newborns, acutely ill children, chronic childhood conditions and routine childhood immunisations.
